Life Drawing I

Life drawing one I had taken during the spring of 2021. Overall, this had been a challenging course for me. I learned a lot about drawing from a live model, proportions, line weight, form, etc. That said, my strengths lied in utilizing my resources, trusting the process, and staying motivated. In contrast, my weaknesses became apparent in terms of speed, confidence, and free-drawing.

That said, the process of creation had been done by observing the model, establishing measurements with a dowel or pencil, sketching a base, moving forward into line weight, and adding curvilinear lines.

Ultimately, this course had been a successful opportunity for me to learn and grow as a well-rounded artist. What I had learned within this course will surely transfer into the classroom when teaching portrait-specific lessons.
